| During 2000-2001 Mayor Espinoza set
out on a project to beautify the downtown corridor, this included replacing the
sidewalks and streets. During this time there was also grant money available to
the local businesses in this area to purchase paint, windows and awnings for
there businesses. After the project was finished the downtown area had a nice
new facelift, everything from planters with trees and benches to new antique
street lights. Here are a few pictures of the businesses with the new paint,
